Chick Flicks & 2s4y

Ron's out in the field this week for training. Our home is incomplete without him here. :( That said, it's a time for me to catch up on the chick flicks he absolutely has no interest in. As much as we gel, there are those instances when one's taste in cinema holds no interest for the other. Ron has a penchant for this horrific & science fiction oriented. I love foreign films with subtitles. He'll usually sit through girly movies with me, as much as I will bear some science fiction with him. I mean, who can resist a movie with Keanu Reeves? Anyhow, last night I watched He's Just Not That Into You. I thought it was really cute. I loved the cast, especially that Mac guy. He's so stinkin' cute. The storyline was really interesting, too. Although, a few of those scenes with Jennifer Aniston had me flinching for her off screen life. Very cute.

Okay, can you tell I'm in need of older human interaction. LOL. This week Kazan came up with this sketch for their 28th sketch.



Here's my take:



I have to admit this weekend I had all but lost my mojo. The thought of cutting & pasting held no interest for me. Partly because of finishing Breaking Dawn & partly because I feel like I needed to kind of break out of my usual style. So, this was kind of fun to play with colors & patterns.
