Wowza! Can you BELIEVE we're going into week 20 at The Pink Elephant Challenges? I know I can't! I also can't believe the AMAZING support and participation we've received from the paper craft community. You all are the bomb! I am so glad to be a part of this awesome group of women. We truly have so much fun bringing you these challenges every week. This week we have a sketch challenge. So make sure you head on over to TPE, check out the sketch, rock it like we know you can & share it with us.
So, I said it would be awesome this week, yes? This week we are sponsored by none other than Unity Stamp Company. I have been ogling these stamps since they've arrived just praying for patience until this challenge. They are too cute. This is the kit I was incredibly blessed with:
Because we have friends with a new bundle of joy, this was my take:
Ingredients:
Patterned Papers from Jenni Bowlin, Sassafras Lass, Making Memories & MME.
Twill is from Wright's.
Tim Holtz inks.
Vintage button & lace.
I'm finding it's better if I use paper piecing in stamping rather than coloring :P There are some amazing stampers out there who can do some gorgeous work with markers (like the great gals I work with at TPE). This would not be my forte :D LOL. A great trick I've been using for some time is using the lid of stamp pads (provided they're not the tiny square ones) as the stamping blocks for acrylic stamps or stamps like these from Unity. It works really well. :)
Okay, now go get wrapped in paper & stuck in some glue for awhile. ;) You could win some of these supa cute stamps for yourself!
