Blessed Heritage by Belinda Bullard

I have been looking for a multicultural, Charlotte Mason style, American History program for quite some time. While looking at Kysha's curriculum on her blog, I saw she was using Blessed Heritage.
Being the curriculum lover I am, and knowing Kysha has great resources, I had to check it out. Here is a description from the authors:

The purpose of this series is two-fold: 1) it strives to first establish the presence of African-Americans in light of Romans 8:28, and 2) it provides all readers--not only African-Americans--with an entire story as opposed to a snapshot of one era in this period of history. Finally, although African-Americans are featured, this curriculum truly is inclusive. There are stories of Native Americans, there are resources for understanding Asian-American immigration, and the stories behind the arrival and survival of all people in creating this great nation. Included are stories of the immigration of Eastern Europeans, stories which help a young student understand Asian and Asian-American culture during World War II and the Vietnam War, and continued encounters with the everyday people who have become heroes and heroines in the greatest country in the world.

YES!!! This is EXACTLY what I wanted!!! :) Christian~ check, Multicultural~ check, Charlotte Mason inspired~ check. I went ahead and ordered it and I can't wait to get it in the mail. Good thing we're super laid back this week because Amah & Papa are visiting :D I CAN'T WAIT TO START!

Thanks, Belinda for putting this together! :)

I heart your background and your header. I also heart you and your hubby and kidlets. You are an amazing mama, a fantastic wife and incredible friend. You are smack dab in the middle of God's plan for you and you can rest in the knowledge that God's grace covers all. Remember "There is no condemnation..."
