bats and babies

This weekend we visited the Inner Space Cavern in Georgetown. It was quite nice to escape the heat for a bit, even if it did mean going underground to do so. We actually did get to see itty bitty bats. They were really quite cute.

I wish I could post more pictures. If you go to the website, there are great pictures there, but our's came out very blurry.

On another note, my mother in law left us to go puppy sit my brother in law & very soon to be sister in law's beagles in Florida. Bobby & Kristy are getting married in Guam, where my father in law lives, so Grandma Carol had to go supervise the pooches. While there, she hopes to visit the very newest member of our family, our cousin Eva's son. I indulged in a little baby boy shopping & made this card. Congrats, Bobby & Kristy! Congrats, Eva!

Ingredients:

MME & Martha Stewart papers
Making Memories chipboard
Jenny Bowlin Rubons

This card is so cute!

I once had a close encounter with bats and it freaked me out. It does not look cute up close.

Cute card!
Ok, I tried hard to see the bat. Sure that's not a dirty lens? Ha! Ok, just kidding :)

Super cute. The colors look great together.
I love how you use scrapbook materials on your cards. I need to do more of that. I usually use a stamp as a focal point. Love your work.
