Happy, Happy Birthday, Baby...

Okay, he's not my baby anymore. Nine years ago I sat in this very city wondering if I was feeling labor pains. I remember tracking my contractions from the timer on my Oral B toothbrush. I remember telling Ron that the contractions were "not that bad" and I thought I could handle them.

I had my sweet boy at 8:32 pm on May 4th, 2001. I thought I knew who I was, I thought I knew what I believed, I thought I knew what I was doing until this sweet boy came into my life. All that changed. He has taught me more about all of the above and then some. I NEVER thought I would be home schooling... I am. I NEVER thought I would cloth diaper a child... I did (the both of them). I NEVER thought my life could completely turn upside down, but it did.

I am so blessed by C (as I call him on this blog). He's remained predictably unpredicable. He challenged everything I thought I knew as a Family Studies major in college. He has and does surprise me with all he does. Thank you, Lord

It is amazing how something that weighs only a few pounds, can change your entire life and everything you know.
