sense a theme here?

I have been SADLY lacking in sending birthday cards to our family. December is a particularly BUSY day in the Quinata family. You would think that being a card maker I'd be right on it with sending them out but, sadly, I'm not that organized. So, one of my New Year's resolutions is to get it together, send out those cards, and be on time. Luckily this week I was given two opportunities to start on my resolution.

For The Pink Elephant's Sketch Challenge this week, we were given great digistamps from Totally Stampalicious

Here's my take:

{papers} Shabby Miss Jenn Designs, Webster's Pages, Bo Bunny
{sticker} Basic Grey

Next, for Let's Capture Our Memories' Monday Challenge it was my first time to sponsor a challenge. I chose the theme "new." Either use something new you got from Santa, or use a new technique you've not tried before. I chose to use something new I got from Ron. He kindly got me a Cricut ;D Really, I bought it for me FROM him, but isn't he sweet? I also used the Sweet Treats cartridge.

{papers} Melissa Frances, Scenic Route, Martha Stewart
{journal tag} 7 Gypsies

Awww, what a guy that Ron is! ;) I love to buy myself things and let hubby know he got them for me. :)

Love the cards! I really need to try this sometime. I saw some note cards a bloggy friend made as teacher gifts and they were fabulous and yours, of course, are always amazing!

Absolutely love these cards Tina! I know exactly what you mean about sending out cards, I am horrible about it but I always have great intentions. So instead I have a pile of cards just sitting there.
