Is it Hawaii? No. Is it the Virgin Islands? No. This, my friends, is Okinawa, the southernmost prefecture of Japan. Future home to The Quinata Family. We found out today that Ron's next duty station is Okinawa. We are elated! Ron and I are very connected to Japan. We both spent a great deal of time there in our teens as Navy brats. We're very excited to share this experience with our children as well. The fact that it's nearly paradise is just the icing on the cake.

YIPEEE Tina! I am so happy for you and your family! It is great to hear that you will be happy with your new home! My brother was stationed their while serving in the Navy for 6 years and he loved every minute of it! :)
This is so wonderful! I am so thrilled for you. If anyone deserves to be in paradise--it's a family who has been separated because of selflessness when a family member is serving in the military!!!! I am so excited for you! When do you move??
