We're back from our Albuquerque visit. Praise God, the visit went EXTREMELY well. We had a wonderful time with one another. It was very healing to be able to put behind us events of last month.

I thought I would include some pictures I took today. The pictures of the flowers were taken this morning. I went on in PJs and all to the backyard. I wanted to see how our absence and the freeze effected my vegetable garden. Unfortunately, there's not much left of the vegetables, but the flowers were still going strong. My Cosmos have been late this year. I was hoping to see some before the frost and I am lucky enough to have a few.

Our Ash tree chose today to fully shed its leaves. All day today it rained gold, brown, and chartreuse leaves. Cristian enthusiastically grabbed a rake and formed a pile. He's been waiting for this since the leaves began turning. He and Isabella had a lot of fun raking and jumping!

I'm so glad your trip went well. Your flowers are gorgeous!! Our leaves are just starting to fall...my kids have a rake outside waiting for the wind to really blow them down. :) Looks like they had a great time!
